Well, it obviously doesn't have Jedi Robes, that's a disappointment I can personally relate to. But maybe the Devs will have a DLC for the game that will allow players the option of wearing the robes. And considering how much that EA's gotten from SWJFO sales, we're likely gonna get a treat sometime soon. 1.
Fallen Order absolutely is Soulslike. Specific location based saving and reviving. Losing XP (to a point) on death and needing to retrieve it. "interconnected" maps opening up new locations and shortcuts as you go. A focus on individual combat, with heavy reliance on dodging/parrying to stay alive.
That's because the parry window is consistent in those games. This simply isn't the case with Jedi survivor. Parrying very inconsistent. You can parry when the attack hits and the game will flip a coin to decide whether it was an actual parry. You can do it just before and the same thing happens.
I mean sure it has some stuff that is comparable to DS. But it is definitely not as hard as as DS (At least when playing on Jedi Master, idk about Grandmaster). I'm a little below average gamer and i fully beat the game on Jedi Master.
Totally agree. I beat the game over the long New Year's weekend and really could give less of a shit if I ever played it again. There's no unique options for playing. As a single player story experience I did enjoy my playthrough but as a semi-open world RPG with a Dark Souls experience system, Fallen Order is the shallowest of kiddie pools.
I finished Jedi Fallen Order this weekend. I thought the game was really well done in most aspects, and well worth a play if you are at least a modest Star Wars fan. I particularly liked the final act and had a lot of fun with the last couple hours of the game, so much so that I decided to make my first patient gamer post about it.
A jedi game is supposed to feel seamless, flowing, with player deaths coming far and dew between to not jar the experience. A game where you die only if you do something stupid. Witcher 3 is a great example of how to do this type of combat right. Is this is what the Jedi are? Maybe their order should stay fallen.
The strategy goes something like this: Jump and force slam near Vader to stun him for a moment (and remove a large chunk of his stamina bar, too). Then quickly attack the Sith Lord with two to
