The Koss Porta Pro are a slightly better headphone overall when compared to the Koss KSC75. The Porta Pro have a better-balanced sound and a more comfortable on-ear fit that you can wear for longer than the KSC75. The Porta Pro also have a better more durable design, although not by much. On the upside, the KSC75 are bit more portable and have
There have been some other changes to its functionality, which I’ll get to a bit below. The most impressive thing about the Porta Pro Wireless is the fidelity with which Koss has reproduced the classic Porta Pro look and feel. The construction and fit are virtually identical, from the collapsible design to the adjustable fit on the temples.
Beats are going to be superior in a lot of ways for BT, but won't get them for $80. I'd put money up that the PortaPro wireless sounds better (not that Beats sound bad anymore). For calls on the go and general practicality, the LG Tones HBS-835S is tough to beat.
Porta pro might indeed lack clarity in some aspects. I've noticed that when switching from brainwavz hm5(clarity beast). But " big" bass and comfort won me over instantly. If vjays can up the clarity that might be worth a try. They are not expensive at all and looks to be in the same ballpark as porta pro comfort wise.
I like my Koss Porta Pro and also all the other cheap Koss headphones Kph30i, KTX Pro 1 etc. The KSC75 have less bass and more mids/treble than the Porta Pros and I actually prefer the on-ear earclip style they have and the brighter sound signature (though KSC75 lacks subbass so not great for all genres).
The Porta Pros are an incredible bang for buck and quite honestly put a lot of pricier headphones to shame. However, they're definitely not "end-game" levels of incredible. Though, I still regularly enjoy listening to my set and doubt I'll ever part with them. Porta Pro + FiiO M9 seems to be my office end game for now.
Koss KSC75 Impression. Many claim audiophile sound at a low cost but there are few that really earn that reputation. Koss has earned it and deserves it. In the low price bracket, Koss has certain models that are legendary, offering sound that no one would expect from something so cheap. Two of the most famous of these are probably the PortaPro
Knowing that you can buy an independent mic and the Koss Porta Pro is capable of doing in holding that mic with its screwdriver attachment on the side. I thought of building my own mod with an attached mic. I am not keen of the idea of using a lapel mic but worse comes to worst, may just buy a lapel along with a type of bendable wire for the of
